About me
Hi there! I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Wisconsin—Madison and an applied microeconomist working at the intersection of development and organizational economics. My research combines field experiments and administrative data to study how policies, institutions, and technology shape economic behavior in rural markets—particularly within agricultural value chains and smallholder settings. I have conducted research in Mexico, El Salvador, Malawi, and Uganda over the past decade.
My work is supported by J-PAL, the International Growth Centre (IGC), PEDL, and the Weiss Fund for Research in Development Economics.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics from ITAM and a dual master’s degree in Applied Economics and Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
In August 2026, I will join Nclusion as a Research Economist. If you’re interested in my work or would like to connect, feel free to get in touch!
Upcoming Travel
I’ll be at the MWIEDC on April 24-25 at the University of Wisconsin—Madison. If you’ll be around and want to chat about research or just catch up over coffee, feel free to reach out!
