About me

Hi there! I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

I am an applied microeconomist working at the intersection of development economics, agricultural economics, and public policy, with a focus on rural markets and firms. My research combines field experiments and administrative data to study how policies, institutions, and firms shape economic behavior—particularly within agricultural value chains and smallholder settings. Over the past decade, I’ve conducted research in Mexico, El Salvador, Malawi, and Uganda.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Economics from ITAM (Mexico City) and hold a dual master’s in Applied Economics and Public Policy from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor.

I will be on the 2025–26 academic job market. If you’re interested in my work or would like to connect, feel free to get in touch!

Upcoming Travel

I’ll be in Chicago for the AFE 2025 Conference on September 18–19. If you’ll be around and want to chat about research—or just catch up over coffee—feel free to reach out!
